Historical Significance

Qutub Minar was constructed in 1193 by Qutub-ud-din Aibak, the founder of the Delhi Sultanate. It was built to commemorate the defeat of the last Hindu empire in Delhi. Several monarchs, including Iltutmish and Firoz Shah Tughlaq, erected structures to the complex over the ages.

Tall Tower
